Re: USC abd Georgia Yeah, hands to the face... if he just pushes him and doesn't touch the face, then maybe there is a different game. It was definately a good play for Bama and a momentum killer for GA since they had the turnover. I didn't get to watch the whole game, but that I know for sure wasn't a bad call.
Re: USC abd Georgia Hey! In LSU's game against them last year they only had 2 penalties against them the entire game! And unlike UGA, we still beat them. Oh, and we didn't get our butts kicked. :lol: Bama pays refs. Pure and simple. OK, maybe not, but it sure seems like it... :wink:
Re: USC abd Georgia Sorry but Bama doesn't pay refs. Just look at the Shula years with all the pre snap penalties and that should answer that. We might as well not even began the series 1 and 10 but went ahead and told the ref to move the ball back five yards because here comes a false start. We just have more discipline now unlike before.
Re: USC abd Georgia USC in the top ten after that loss is absurd. Aburn loses a close game to LSU and USC is ranked above them. The USC love is sickening.

Re: USC abd Georgia I agree with most of that Buzzard, but I see it in more simple terms...Bama is simply better and the Dawgs ain't as good as the press wants them to be. Its obvious that the SEC west is now the dominant side of the conference. (Well, at least this week):grin:
USCs ranking sickens me. If SC wins out they are guaranteed to be in the top 3. - 4 big 12 tens in the top 10-- 3 of which are guaranteed to lose a game. Thats moves them to the top 6 - Either (or both) BYU or Penn State will fall They jump in the top 4 - Bama and LSU ( after Bama loses) Now move to the top 3 Does the BCS factor the AP into the equation??:crystal:
