    y'all

I think his height makes the difference. not too many guys that 6'4 or 6'5 running sprints at world meets. most can't tie their shoes without falling over.

I didn't find him to be obnoxious but maybe it's because I was comparing him to all other sprinters, except tyson gay. Maurice Green was an egomaniac, so was asafa powell in his hay day and don't even get me started on Donovan Bailey. I don't know how that guy could run with that big ole head of his. Linford Christie refused to get off the track after false starting a couple of olympis ago. Egomania is absolutely rampant in sprinting.

I actually like Usain because he's more of a relaxed silly type than strictly an egomaniac like the above. Although the best guy was always Michael Johnson. Humble in defeat and in victory.

Just heard where he donated 50k to the victims of the Chinese earthquake. I wonder if it's truly a heart felt gesture or just a way to shore up his image after the IOC criticism. I don't guess his motives really matter if that money goes to help someone in need.

Ever hear him speak? I can't say that he is taking any performance enhancers, but I'd bet a good nickle that he does lots of bong hits. I'd also bet that he trades those gold medals for a sack of weed once he gets back to "de Island"

The guy is great but reminds me of Terrell Owens. Both can get tons of attention on pure talent alone but feel the need to act like ass clowns instead.
