Don't know if any of you use it but, I found this site that breaks down the AP, Coaches, and polls that make up the BCS. Pollspeak - College Sports Polls, College Football Rankings, College Football Polls | Pollspeak *Ramah, wasn't trying to hijack
The big thing here is that Oregon closed the gap on Boise State. Oklahoma lurking right behind. I just don't think Boise State can withstand the god awful easy schedule they have. Even their wins aren't as impressive as years past. That's not helping.
Why is it that bsu doesn't get into a conference that has an automatic bcs bid. They could surely get into the big 12 because of all the teams it lost. They could get into the big east maybe now that wvu is leaving. Are they scared they would be irrelevant in a true power conference like the big 12 , having to play teams like Texas and ok every year? They could surely hold their own in the big east I would think. Is it that they just want to win and staying in a weak conference is ok as long as they win. They like beating on little teams like la tech and it's good enough being the top in a weak conference. They should realize that their conference isn't good enough for them to ever play in the bcsnc game. Does that even matter to them? They remind me of dudes that always date big girls. Quality doesn't matter as long as they get lucky.
That's true, but OU is right on Oregon's heels already, and Oregon has a recent history of losing to Boise, even if from a previous season. I just don't think the "forces that be" will have Oregon in the BCSNCG against an SEC team, particularly if it involves a rematch against LSU.
And to further your point, the Oregon/SEC stigma may indeed carry over to Bama (heaven forbid), as they will say that if Oregon couldn't handle LSU, they won't handle Bama either (since we are mirror images and present the same problem to Oregon). What's interesting to see is that the talking heads on TV have so much say so these days in how the voters vote. It will be up to them that last weekend to make their statement as to who they think deserves to be in the title game.
Very true. Oregon is damaged goods. No one wants to see them in the title game for at least a couple of years. No one outside their fan base anyway.
