Sorry to go against the grain here and bash somebody elses coach. Obviously bashing our own coaches is the forum pastime. But if we can be so hard on our own coaches, at least apply the same type of dumbass analysis to Urban Meyers.

Returned almost their entire NC team. Experienced senior QB who has been in the trenches. Should have been a slam dunk for a repeat with all the talent and experience. Instead Florida underwhelmed all year. Week after week they squeaked by. Don't think anybody was scared of them. Didn't hear a single damn national journalist suggesting this Florida team was one of the all-time greats. Compare that to the crap we had to listen to about USC a few years ago. 2009 was not a great coaching job by Meyers. Must be overrated. Maybe he'll go to Notre Dame and Florida can get Saban. Then they'll be good.:insane:

    Yawn...

Ok, we get it. Did you really have to start another thread? You made your point in the other ones.

The key word there being "almost"... They lost Percy Harvin, one of the best players to ever play for Florida (and who should have been the MVP on the NC last year).

Please see NFL for additional information...

I agree in fact you take away Harvin. Then I think Tebow comes in second to Mcfadden in the Heisman race. Hell I still say Mcfadden deserved it more anyway. :tigerhead

Losing Harvin and Murphey was too much for their offense to overcome.
Other than Tebow they had no weapons at all on the offensive side of the ball.

I think some people are losing it?
Dude, seriously give it a rest.
We know you think USC plays in the Pac 10 with nine other schools equivalent to Vandy like you stated in another thread.
I don't really care for CUM but he has won 2 national championships in the last four to five years.
I don't know what Florida's record is in the same time span that CLM's has been at LSU but I'm willing to bet that it is the either the same or better than CLM's.
You do yourself no favors trying to drag down the other coaches to make a point to try and prop up our coach.

We squeaked by in 2007 and won the championship only because Pitt beat UWV.
I don't deny that it takes luck to win the title but just pointing out that your same logic could easily have been applied to Les Miles and LSU.
How many 2 loss teams have made it to the championship game over the years.

I will also point out that CUM is farther along in building or maintaining the Florida program than CLM's is and he has one more national championship and a few more SEC Championships to geaux with it.
I am writting most of this from memory, I'm not going to take the time to look it up but I believe some people here are being dishonest.
Like I have said, I am not against CLM's and I've never said he should be fired.
The only thing I said is Crowton should go given his track record at Oregon and now here.
I will honestly admit that there is no guarantee that we will get a better coach than CLM's and you won't get a better person so let the cards fall where they may!

Btw, what is this unfair standard some people are stating that Les Miles is being held to a much tougher standard than other coaches?
Edit: Why are you and The Dud so offended by what some fans on a message board say?
The coaches make plenty of money, they will be all right no matter what.
They are grown men, let them earn their pay like any of us have to do.
You either get the job done or you don't!

Tebow has weapons. Everything starts with that dive play, you do remember that dive play, right? The option works off of that.

Bama wasn't having any of it. Gators blinked, lost faith, had a panic attack, whatever you wanted to call it, they started throwing.

A one dimensional Florida team is going to struggle against our defense.

Sure he has weapons but with out Harvin it is like he lost an arm. I still say Harvin made him look like superman now he looks pretty mortal. :tigerhead
