Maybe I'm dumb but what does this have to do with coaching?
All of a sudden he can't coach but he has been coaching for 25 years?
Its not like he has to exercise like his players!
Seems like a good enough excuse to quit the same year as Tebow left!

I'm glad he's gone but I do wish him a quick recovery and good health.

Come on, it's Urban. His ethics have been pretty questionable, no?

Pretty common to see other forums do that, even after just losing on the football field.

A UF fan told me awhile back that he admitted in his book that he had a brain cyst which caused the symptoms mentioned above and caused blackouts. Add that to possible heart problems at his age, he needs to get his health under wraps if he wants to have a life with his family. Get it under control and treated and then think about making a comeback.

No possible way UF would force him out. :insane:

id say the stress of coaching. not exactly good for the old ticker if the ticker has issues.

Health issues and the intense pressure of being a major conference coach are not a good mix.

It has a lot to do with it!
Young athletes have died because of developmental heart conditions. I don't suppose a heart muscle defect(?developmental or acquired) is any exception. It could have been a progressive condition and be finally more symptomatic; God knows if he is getting more cardiac arrythmias that can be triggered by high levels of adrenaline!

We just became the second best team in the SEC. Do you think he would have stepped down if Tebow were coming back for another year?
