:geaux: That article pretty much covers what everyone in the SEC already knew about CUM. Sleazy, scumbag tactics by a sleazy scumbag. Ohio St. will regret this hire in the not so distant future. :LSU231:
Remember that tOSU is on probation. If Meyers commits any recruiting violations, I'd love to see the fireworks.
So the basis for his claims is second-hand "information" from a Michigan blog, unsourced quotes, and speculation. Very reliable. I really can't stand Meyer either, but this all sounds like a lot of rumor-mongering with very few hard facts to back it up. It would also help the author's credibility to at least get the subject's name right when he blogs about him.
That's pretty much how I saw it too. The timeline for him lying to OSU recruits is very brief as well. I mean, how much lying could he have done in a few weeks? Don't get me wrong, there's no doubt in my mind he's a tool and does engage in more improprieties than most.
Yea, that was funny. Also funny is that this is Penn St mudslinging at a rival and ending the article by asking people to email any other such stories to the author. I smell fear. Providing Meyer doesn't wig out (big if), he'll probably have tOSU back to elite status quickly. I'll be curious to see how a top tier former SEC coach (hell no, kiffin doesnt count) does at a big name non-SEC school and how much Southern talent he can raid. If he's recruiting any LSU prospects I hope our coaches tell them "YOU'LL FREEZE YOUR *SSES OFF UP THERE."
