Meyer could've made that system work very well with Cam had he not decided to steal laptops at UF. But athletes like Tebow and Newton who are tailor-made for spread option QBs are exceptionally rare, and DC's have learned how to scheme for it with faster LBs, so that without players of that caliber it's just another gimmick offense.

I think he will be successful, if he can recruit speed, the big 10 is one of those conferences that can be taken to the woodshed with elite speed. Problem is, it's hard to get kids from the South to go to Ohio State.
