Meyer at center of controversy posted: Thursday, January 24, 2008 Another day, another story about Urban Meyer's alleged sketchy recruiting tactics. http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blo...blog/index?entryID=3212354&name=feldman_bruce
A few more stories like this and with ESPN behind the ball on this one, this might turn out to be something.
Meyers recent recruiting tactics have been getting air play on the radio today. I hope it ends up screwing him.
Yeah, but in that same ESPN article they go on to say that the possible violation here is a small one and would not be significantly penalized. If he keeps this stuff up, it will catch up with him, I believe. In the interim, he is piling up impressively rated classes - how that pans out on the field remains to be seen. As long as the Tigers beat them and/or challenge for the NC, and carry out their business in a tactful, class way, that is all I really care about. Did anyone see how uptight he was when he was part of the pre-game for the NC game this year? Fox was doing a goof on the announcers, but CUM did not look like he was too pleased when he was the butt of one of them. What a loser he is.

Once 1 person starts talking and getting on TV, then everyone who has been screwed by CUM will start speaking to the media to get their 2 minutes in....eventually it'll be all ESPN has to talk about leading up to football season....he may not get it through the NCAA,at least not for a while, but the media may be worse in some ways
