How do you figure? McKnight can't be a star at LSU? I think he can and I think the LSU coaches will tell him that and tell him how. LSU has no established running back and the top two receivers were seniors who are gone. A man like McKnight will find many opportunities to get on the field and I can't imagine the coaches haven't pointed this out.

Some of yall are crazy. If you don't think Miles is being aggressive with recruits you are living in a fantasy world. You dont make your way to the top of recruiting by asking cordially inviting a prospect to come to campus if he has the time. These coaches have to be aggressive.

LSU has no established back? What happened to Keiland Williams? He should have received more carries than he did at the end of the year. He is by far the best back right now at LSU.

What I meant is Im sure that people like Carroll and $aban are selling him more BS than someone like Miles. Carroll and $aban are the types that will tell him he could be in Heisman contention next year. Im sure LSU is telling McKnight he will be used a Bush type role, but I dont see them painting quite the same picture.

I'd love for McKnight to come to Bama, but from everything that I've read, I believe he's out of our reach. Don't underestimate Pete Carroll. He's as cool and convincing as they come.

I don't think anyone underestimates PC. Just look at the ranking of his last 4 recruiting classes. They are top flight for a reason.

For JM, the considerations are travel distance to school, ability to go home for a visit (cost and time), ability for parents and friends to see him play, and concern over USC going on probation during his time there, due to Reggie Bush violations of NCAA rules.

Of course he is. But how many games did he start? I said LSU has no established back returning, not that there aren't seriously talented candidates.

All the schools he's considering have plenty of competition at running back.

Joe McKnight will enter the same situation at all three schools when it comes to the depth chart.

USC, Bama, and LSU all have young, highly recruited running backs. Im guessing distance and relationship with the staff will be the difference.

Keiland didnt start but he was clearly the best back. I still cant understand why the coaches didnt get him more carries once he came into his own? Honestly, Keiland is the best back thats returning to any school McKnight is considering.

If I am not mistaken Keiland had a few starts after getting the flow of the offense. He was held back a bit with all that Clearing House stuff in the summer.

Joe will get carries from day one at LSU. He can play with any of our current backs on the field. He can line up in the slot, at WR, or at tail back.
