I have a bad feeling about M McKnight.

Carroll and Saban are going to promise him that he will be a star on those teams.

It's not Coach Miles's style to make promises like that . . . he's too honest to tell a kid only things that the kid wants to hear.

JM has the potential to be one of the best RBs ever to play at LSU, but, Carroll and Saban are going to promise him the world right now.

    LSU! :crystal:

Thats a good point. Miles wont paint the picture McKnight wants to hear. With the possible probation looming over USC, LSU is now in a better light because of that. I dont really see Bama being a major favorite in the recruitment of McKnight. It boils down to LSU/USC. All the possible sanctions and everything else at USC will only help LSU. Although Joe is really drawn to wanting to be the next Bush and is a USC fan because of that. In the end I think wanting to be close to his family and JT Curtis will win out. I like the fact McKnight has scheduled LSU last, I know he may go to Bama, Arkansas, or elsewhere next week. I see this as a two horse race. Its a good thing that LSU will be last in his head, rather than USC. Dont get me wrong, its gonna be close and I wouldnt doubt him going to USC, but I think the Tigers win out in the end. Sure hope Im right!

The other way to look at it is that I think McKnight is smart enough to see through all those promises. Would you want to deal with someone who promises you everything like a salesperson, or someone who is honest and straight shooter?

I think Miles could promise him he's be a star on THIS team, and be a straight shooter! Come on down, Joe McKnight!

I'm pretty sure the LSU coaching staff is telling Mcknight how big of a star he could be at LSU, don't kid yourself...

I think LSU may win this one. The days where USC was much more hyped up than LSU is over. LSU is constantly getting top recruiting classes, finishing right on the top every football season, and has a big chance every year at the title, not to mention that he is going to start right ahead, and most importantly, that LSU is going to get you to the NFL. Joseph Addai, one of the top of last year's class, this year, JR, semi-guaranteed no. 1 pick, LL and DB, first round picks. So there is nothing to worry about in terms of LSU compared to USC athletically. The only thing that may factor in his decision is if he wants to go to Cal.

Now, what we need to finish up this class on top is to get the triple threat, we get them, we're probably no. 1.
In case you dont know who the triple threat is, its JM, CJ and TT, they're all no. 1 in the nation in their respective position.:thumb:
