From The Advocate this morning... East St. John coach Larry Dauterive said Monday that Perrilloux, regarded as the nation's top quarterback who remains committed to Texas, has scheduled his final two weekend visits to Florida State and Miami because of the state flux regarding LSU coach Nick Saban. "He's worried about the instability at LSU,'' Dauterive said of Perrilloux. "He asked me before he left (for New York) to call Miami and set something up.'' Before Saban's name surfaced last week as a candidate for the Miami Dolphins vacant head coaching position, Perrilloux had scheduled his final weekend visit Jan. 28 to LSU. "He's been to LSU a countless number of times,'' Dauterive said. "He was complying with their wishes to take a visit. Now, if he visits, it will be midweek. I'm only complying with the wishes of the kid. He said he hasn't been able to talk to anyone at LSU.'' Dauterive said in the event Saban opts to leave for Miami, LSU's new head coach would be somewhat at a disadvantage because Saban already utilized his one in-home visit with Perrilloux. the full story ... http://www.2theadvocate.com/stories/122104/spo_prep1001.shtml

Word id that RP's mother had sometihng happen to her with regard to Texas and refuses to let her son go there.
From someone close to his situation that has pretty much been right on with his reports for us on another board. And if you know anyone that was at his last few games of the season you will be able to ask them if his family had quit wearing there Texas jerseys to the games and they will you they had.
And after the high school season was over when he took his trip here he said this: "The Reserve (La) East St. John blue-chip was joined on the visit by his mother, sister and stepfather and he said they too liked what they saw. “They thought everything was really nice. The loved it a lot,” said Perrilloux. “But they’ve always really liked Texas. All of this just firmed up my commitment even more.” " Not saying that what you're reporting is false, I'm just not going to believe it until I see it coming from something like Rivals.com because of all of the false rumors flying around.
I can assure you Mama hated the trip and said she never wanted to be in Texass again, anywhere. Mama and brother will help him with decision. Brother was so turned off by lies told by Brown and other assistants he refused to go on the trip or even consider Texas. Mama is looking for a home closer to B.R. RP is just keeping the pressure off. Answer your questions?
Not exactly. As I said, it could be true (and I'm not saying it's not), but I'm not going to believe anything until it's reported by a reputable source. Until it's reported by said sources, it's just a rumor floating around through anonymous internet posters.
