With everyone slinging props around tonight, I just want to throw mine to Quinn Johnson. CScott is a beast and we all know that, but he owes alot of that to his fullback. Anyone see some of the vicious hits dude was laying on LBs and safetys to get Scott to the 2nd and 3rd levels of their defense? He's a very punishing blocker; reminds me of Lorenzo Neal.

Yes he does indeed deserve a thread of his own.

I watched some highlights just a few minutes ago and paid attention to Johnson.

He may very well be the best blocking FB in the nation.

    Talk about "blowing up" people.

How about Lafell who made some great catches, and great runs. Definitely made up for his mistakes last year against Auburn. Redemption is sweet.

I was very impressed with #84, Alem, at D end on the last couple of series. Maybe just because he's fresh, but that kid was putting some serious push into the Auburn backfield!

He was blowing holes open big time. When they handed him the ball on a couple of occasions. He really just carried the defensive line forward to pick up the first down. Dude's awesome.:D

I've been a QJ fan since last year. He is also a very good receiver if they would ever use him that way.

    Johnson had a great game.

Lafell is making up 100 times over for the drops he had last year. He is quickly becoming the go-to receiver, though Byrd is still incredible, as well.

Also, did anyone notice that Lafell was the one who downed the punt inside the one after our first series in the game? He had some really good special teams play.

Alem on that last series, even with the PF, was great. He plays with a nasty streak--the way I like to see defense played.
