After reading my original post again, I think I need to clarify my statements and apologize if anyone in particular thought I was talking about them...i'm not and wasn't. What I was trying to say was that for some reason, people attatch their self worth with the football team's success. I was speculating about the poor and uneducated stuff as to why. (I'm poor and educated myself I went to LSU, but graduated from UNO). All the lists and poll results about the South have La, Ark, Ms and Ala at the bottom when they rank the states on education, health care, poverty, etc. That's why I was speculating about these factors. I shouldn't have implied that we were poor and uneducated. Sorry for the generalization...I should have been more careful. And TUSK, you're right. The best People live in the South...because we have real culture...we're not generic.
It's not sagely advice...more like barstool logic. But I'm just a cook, what do I know...would you like fries with that opinion?
