Been batted around that Lee has been having academic issues…it is being said on after further review that it is being reported to him unofficially that Lee has/is failing a class and that he will not be bowl eligible. Would explain the lack of reps
I heard the same thing in the stands on Friday. But what I heard was more dramatic as in, he's failing out of school, had broken up with his girlfriend, and was in a general downward spiral. But it's just rumor at this point. I would hate for it to be true, as he has been such a big factor in our success this year. It would be tragic for him not to be able to finish out the season.

If lee can't play and jj gets hurt( not that I am wishing for that at all. Not at all! Don't misunderstand this, I am not wishing jj to be hurt) , mett coming into the bcs championship game could really hurt the gumps. They will prepare for jj and the option for a month and not for a gunslinger. Mett could come in and throw the ball around on an unprepared bama. I wouldn't think all hope is lost if mett had to play.
