It would have been even better except we turned it over on several (at least 5) fast break opportunities on both ends of the floor, both on finishing and on steals/rebounds. It deflated the crowd noticeably. I was psyched for the game but was disappointed at the turnout. Someone actually hit the Cane's Challenge though, so good for that guy even if he was wearing flip-flops.
Yep, got to sit in the student 100 section and it was packed. I really wish we could get a higher student turnout for every game. You get free admission and if you can get into the 100 section, it's some of the best seats in the house. Definitely all of the above. Trent Johnson has a great attitude, and the players are responding to it and playing very good defense. As far as fan enthusiasm goes, it had nowhere to go but up after even Brady looked like he was phoning it in. Football season has left a bad taste in people's mouths and now that it looks like we have a good solid team, look for attendance to increase.
They struggled a bit in transition on both sides, but I suspect they'll clean that up in time for SEC play. I've seen that guy at every game this year. He definitely puts the maniac in "Maravich Maniacs".
I grumbled. Me and my dad were laughing at him for the flip flops. He also spun the ball on his finger like he was the **** before he started. I guess it's cool since he backed it up.
If this was last year you would all be bitching about the creampuff schedule, how Brady has killed attendance and waiting for the hammer to drop. :hihi:
Because they would have been playing like half ass **** in the process. They are playing hard every game for CTJ. Even though your comments were meant to be hihi funny, that's the reason. It's obvious their attitude has changed.
