so i didnt know much about this, and i read about it, and i love it. i am now a huge fan of the new york sentinels. they play in my home borough of queens sometimes at citifield, and they have labrandon toefield. the teams are vegas, orlando, new york and SF. the games will be on versusHD on weeknights. the season is pretty short, ends around thanksgiving. i need to find a place to play fantasy UFL. they even have some relatively high profile players and coaches. dennis green, brooks bollinger, JP losman, chris perry, jim haslett, jim fassel. more football, on weeknights, what could be better than that? i cant wait. The Rockfish is a pretty lame name for the SF franchise. I usta go dipsea (how the flips pronounce it) fishing out here off the coast and catch rockfish all the time. They just registered the name last Sunday, and have done zero promotion to this point.
SF Redwoods is the new name as of to-day. Still sucks. Besides, I thought Stanfurd had dibs on the tree.
i liked rockfish. and i like sentinels, i hope it doesnt change. redwoods isnt bad. again, i remain pretty fired up for weeknight pro football. i even will go to a game i hope. labrandon toefield is going to win the rushing title.
They should go with The San Francisco 69ers, A professional football league with only 4 teams is a pretty gay concept anyway. I hope the players in this league get their money up front.
Could be the San Fran Pirates. Have you seen the uni's they look like they took them straight out the XFL! Personally I think they should have just dumped the money and made the arena league bigger and better! I miss the New Orleans Nights and Voodoo
