Thought that it was a very nice blend of modern design with touches of a "throwback" look for tradition. Make the pants the same color as the helmets and I'm sold on our new home uni's.
I didn't think I'd like them, but I gotta say I was wrong. I even bought the jersey and wore it to the game. That gold helmet was sweet, and the shoes were bling! I got home and watched the dvr and TV didn't do them justice. I'd still like to see gold pants with it. I wouldn't mind seeing them again on occasion.
The old gold is great but the color they used was much too dark. You couldn't hardly read the LSU in purple. A lighter old gold with LSU's purple would look awesome.
I prefer the traditional uniforms, but I gotta say.. The gold on the helmets looked much better than I originally thought it would. It was ok for a 1 time thing.
Liked the look of them, except for the gold. Change that to our traditional color, I would be OK with it. Kind of liked the white on white; looks a hell of a lot better than the UF blue on blue, or whatever the heck Missouri was wearing. Also, not a fan of Nike calling the line of uniforms "Pro Combat"; it's in piss-poor taste.
