off topic, but they might just need to re-evaluate this whole marijuana thing. legalize it, decriminalize it, better education for those considering smoking it.... i don't know, but everywhere you look you see an increase in the people getting busted for pot and it is certainly not endemic to sports. back on topic, slightly, is how a friggin athlete can function on something that is known for making you clumsy, lackadaisical and carefree. well, maybe i'm just smoking the wrong stuff... :hihi: but seriously, these guys need to get their heads in the game. :insane:
When I was in high school, we had a guy who won every meet I can remember in the 100 yard dash. He was high in about half of the meets. end of hijack!
well it was in response to yet another player getting reprimanded for it. i didn't say that i favored the stuff being legalized, but rather that something needed to be done about it. because obviously whatever is being done is not working. kids aren't even trying to hide the fact that they do it these days.
Fact is, it's illegal, against the rules. Until that changes, the only thing that needs to happen is it shouldn't be done...or you shouldn't be caught doing it...if you expect to keep your scholly.
Yep. This is why I liked them as the opener this year. It would be a good test of LSU's offense. The hell with putting your toes in the water to see how cold it is, dive in. Put them out there and let the chips fall where they may. The good teams will get through it.
