You may be rite but i live in North Carolina and when i hear LSU Football, i automatically think powerhouse. It's like that man. Kinda like Tarheel Basketball minus last year:rolleye33:
perhaps you're right fear, but all one has to do is turn on ESPN or (insert your choice of media) to see the blatant lack of respect -- it's almost disrespect. fourth in the west?! perhaps if arky had any defense i could see that happening. i also think AU is still a year away. anyone who doesn't think it's coming down to LSU and Bama in the west hasn't been paying attention. either that or i'm just a delusional fan.
We got players out too. Hatcher at safety, Baker at LB and Peterson at TE/WR. Baker is a starter and will be missed but the loss of Peterson made me sick. His loss takes away an entire offensive formation or at least cripples it. Still we got weapons everywhere if Jefferson can step up and run the show. First game of the season, a young and inexperienced LSU team and a distracted UNC team. May be a somewhat sloppy game and a close score but I think LSU wins it.
Espn(well Joe Schad) says UNC maybe without 16 players for this weekend. Joe Schad (schadjoe) on Twitter
Was looking forward to the litmus test for our new look O, guess that'll have to wait for WVU's defense, which returns 9 starters. Disappointing, but I won't even think about the suspensions once the game starts. If a Tar Heel fan thinks this will stop me from talking smack once the beatdown begins, think again.
Yeah....I won't be relaxing about this one until we've got a 3 touchdown lead in the 4th. Adversity works two ways.
I hope you tarheels fare well with the hurricane...even if it stays offshore, too much rain in the mountains can result in disastrous flooding. If the levees held, NO would have skated through Katrina. Good luck with that more than with the game.
