1949: W 13-7 Baton Rouge
1948: L 7-34 @Chapel Hill

As long as we are scheduling games against BCS opponents (ACC, BIG 12, BIG 10, PAC 10, Big East) there is reward. These games are often scheduled 4 or 5 years ahead, so there is no telling how good a team will be that far down the road when we actually play them. It is hardly ever a bad idea to schedule OOC games against BCS conferences.

What I do think is a waste is playing THREE in state teams this year (Tulame, ULL & Louisiana Tech). I believe in helping out the other schools in our state, BUT THREE IN ONE YEAR? That is going to be an easy target the haters will use to call us out.
