Don't know about others, but I was talking about recruiting ATL. We have been plucking a few from that region in recent years...continuing that trend as we speak...and this would only add to it.

And UNC football...although certainly an after thought compared to basketball...is on the rise. A few years back, this would have been a cupcake game. But there's a reason it would be a neutral site showcase game...it's because it would probably be a game of two fairly highly ranked opponents at that time who don't face each other very frequently. It would be an early season matchup featuring two ranked teams...similar to last season's Bama/Clemson matchup. Hopefully, we would do like Bama did.

I would love for LSU to play a home-and-home game with UNC. Kenan Memorial Stadium has always been an aesthetically pleasing stadium to me, definitely one of my favorite stadiums in college football, outside of Tiger Stadium, of course.

I don't like it when we "lend" TU credibility by playing them in football, and then have them price gouge us in Baseball. :po:. To heck with them.

Is this another one of those ESPN-brokered matchups? Those generally go well for us (Fresno St in '06, moving up MooU in '07, VaTech in '07, App State in '08)

Keep in mind it is always good to have warm up games in the domes, (Atlanta and New Orleans). I think I recall some important games in those domes. Any ACC team is a warm up game for the Tigers! But I do not think we should give up a home game in Tiger Stadium.

Awesome, awesome idea. Great for the polls, great for recruiting. There is no downside.

Plus, it will start the JJ for Heisman '10 campaign!

Just out of curiosity... do season ticket owners get a discount for seasons with less home games?
