To say that MSU is the same punching bag is wishful thinking. That ain't Crook's team anymore.

The only thing missing about this first game discussion with UNC, is the hype. This my LSU friends is in Atlanta, in one of those neutral field, "Chick-fil-A Kick off Classic," SEC vs ACC, ABC national audience, only game that evening type, barn burner. extra passionate kind of ball game.

The national media will eat it up, and a lot of attention is coming your way. It will feel bigger than your VaTech opening game a few years back. Half that stadium is going to be rocking sky blue and the other, Purple and Gold. More will be gain in a victory than just the normal spoils.

When Bama stomped a mud hole in Clemson, that momentum helped Bama get their program back on track including the beat down at the "black out" in Athens. Just ask Mark Richt, we were back. Last year, against VaTech it was the national spot light that let us wash the taste out of our two season ending losses to Florida and especially, Utah. It told our team and fans, this will be a new, and different year, and obviously it was.

It's obvious at this time in the season, emotionally, you just haven't got there, YET.

    Totally agree my friend.

Im with you, i have a bad feeling about the UNC game and therefore our season. If the coaching doesn't greatly improve this season, i see us losing 4-5 games.

I also wouldn't mind if Miles' proves me wrong. I would love nothing better than Miles' getting us back to the SECCG this year and telling all of us that doubted him to kiss his a$$. I know he would never say that cause he's a class act, but you know what i mean.

But based on the last two years, i don't see that happening. Time will tell.

It's like a disease isn't it? You just can't help it, it seems.

Well both teams defenses should set the tone for this game. Atheletes make differences in games and LSU has them. Probly more than Carolina. With that said i feel like LSU should be the favorite but it could go either way. I agree with the tone setter though. If LSU loses then the road could be bumpy. If Carolina loses we still can get to 8 wins i feel like and get to a respectable bowl. However, if Carolina wins this game then it could boost their season to a magical one. Games vs GT, @ Miami, vs VT, @Rutgers, and @FSU it will be tough to win the Coastal division in the ACC and get to the ACC Championship game. A win vs a big time opponent like LSU would be a hell of a start

Sadly there are plenty of people out there who would rather us lose 8 games and Miles be fired than win another :crystal: under Miles.
