I don't want to rain on the current parade, but I'm concerned about ULM. We're coming off our biggest win since the 2007 BCSCG. Alabama was a huge and extremely emotional win.

ULM is a pretty decent football team. Any other time I wouldn't be concerned especially since CLM has arrived we have been winning these games (as we should).

I think it would be easy to overlook ULM when we have Ole Miss and a visit to Arkansas to possibly fiinish off a totally improbable 12-1 season with a chance (albiet very slim) of representing the West in the SECCG.

    Thoughts please.:geauxtige

4-5 is a decent football team? They have been embarrassed by the two SEC teams they have played. I think we can overlook them and still win big.

I'm expecting a game much like McNeese. That's not to say JJ and JL will stink up the place, but it's going to be an opportunity to get some PT for some other players and tweak the dual QB system again. It'll be a vanilla offense where we try to control time of possession with long sustained drives. This is a game where you just want to get in and out with no injuries and start preparing for the final SEC stretch.

Not in the least, we'll roll. I fully believe the confidence is sky-high at the moment. Yes, I thought that going into McNeese also, but I just have a hunch that our offense is going to roll over Monroe. Beating Bama will propel JJ and co. to new heights, IMO.

We had better put up some points.
We're #5 BCS- we had better act like it.

Now is not the time to "Cruise"...

ULM, I doubt it. Ole Miss is always a thorn in the side of every top 5 team. I'm more afraid of them, especially since LSU keeps games closer than they should be.

People are going to go back to hating the Les Miles style, because this is not going to be a "fun" win. LSU will probably be up by 7 or 10 points at halftime (if that), and just coast to a win.

A trap game follows a big emotional game. the trapper may not look too great, but you can see a potential reason that on a given day they could actually rise up and beat your team. I felt that way about Kentucky a couple years ago because of their QB, and they got us. I don't see that in ULM, so no trap game. We will have to get back up, but I don't see  losing that game, no way.

I think LSU starts really slow, people will moan, then they will pick it up and win 24-10 type thing. And I will be fine with it.
I dont care about rankings, etc
I want to win and most importantly stay healthy.
The Pollsters get it, the ability of this team has already been proven, a two TD win will not hurt them at all in the polls.

    Just my 2 cents.

We won't blow them out but the game will never be in doubt.
