That is what I was thinking. The 2 guys they did have were both in foul trouble early and both took early seats in the 2nd but still. They are still Kentucky and I'll relish the win. Not sure what the T on Jones was, apparently the announcers never figured it out either. D was swarming tonight, if they can continue that then who knows.
Some of you have very short memory spans. This is the JJ Modus Operandi. Win one or two big games then go in the tank against inferior competition. Let's see what happens in the upcoming days, weeks and months. I'm not getting excited until I see some consistency. We've all seen this re-run before. It's funny and amusing over at the Kiddie Factory where all the 12-18 year old non-competitive and non-athletic Sunshine Pumper kiddies are going nuts and taking shots at everybody (Negatigers and Realists) that aren't big JJ worshippers. They're all setting themselves up for a massive letdown, if the JJ schtick continues it's yearly pattern. Great win, but it's best to reserve judgement until all the horses are back in the barn....................
That's fair criticism. Agree, good approach is to relish the win, but stay reserved in opinion and see what happens over time.
It was a great win I didn't think we would get, especially in the fashion we did. We still looked off for part of the game and UK looked talented but is struggling to put it together as a group. It's too early to say we've turned the corner and that we'll breeze through the SEC. So yeah, everyone saying cJJ is awesome and y'all are idiots are a bunch of lemmings. Still, if you can't enjoy a blowout win VS UK, come on man.
team defense started during conference play. getting a key player back was big. seems to be gelling. unfortunately we are NIT bound with a possibly deserving team for the dance.
