53-48, LSU looking kinda janky and UK starting to play. Simmons mostly shut down and everyone else quiet the past few minutes. Spectator in chief jones just watching.
I've been waiting for us to play as a team, and not just hoping that Bennie, Blakeney, and Victor carry us. TQ, Hornsby, Patterson are all contributing in a significant way. If the chemistry starts kicking in, and we play defense the way we are this 2nd half against UK, we'll start achieving what we are capable. It's takes time for that to happen, so I've not been overly surprised or worried about the slow start to the season.
Much props goes to Johnny Jones. He has this team playing solid defense, rebounding and fighting for every loose ball. Kentucky doesn't get beat by 15+ very often.
