You said a mouth full. All this really shows is that the SEC is an any given Sat thing this year. With UT beating UGA last week, UK beating Auburn, Ark going toe to toe with UF, and USCe hanging with Bama, just shows anyone can beat anyone or is beatable on any given Sat. We just need to go into every week focused on the task at hand, play good solid ball and we will be fine.
No. I would be courious to see the mathmatical equation used to put 17 points as the barometer of success.
If we win by 16 you will be pissed......makes perfect sense. If we win by 16 I will be damn happy. THIS line of thinking is complete garbage.
is this like the 5 degrees (or is it 7) of seperation from kevin bacon game? that for some fans, no matter how other games go, it all comes back to "we suck"?:hihi:
When in my lifetime has the Auburn game not been important? You can look at one game of Auburn's or LSU and try to extrapolate how good they/we are but it's a bunch of crap. All that gets thrown out the window when they both hit the field. It's not just this year. This game will always be one of our most important games every year. It will always be one of our most hard fought games every year. It's a conference game. It's a division game. Seems important to me, regardless of who Auburn beats or loses to this year. Thinking that they suck because of one game would be a mistake. Unlike some posters here, I am sure our coaches are taking it a bit more seriously. And they seem to every year.
Spot on Dude. You've got to go back to 2003 to find a lopsided win in the series. We beat 'em 31-7 that year. Since then they've been nail biters and I expect another one this year.
