Nah...Vick is more of an Al Davis and Raiders' type...

...but how about Vick being signed by the Cleveland Browns in 3 years or so to replace the inept Brady Quinn?? :hihi: The team's media guide could have Vick standing in front of the Browns' "Dog Pound" with the phrase: "Rehabilitated, Refreshed and Ready" ??

I just caught the tale end of a radio program the other day. They were saying that some other sport figure was taking up for Vick. "It wasn't HIS fault-------he was RAISED THAT WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!"

    RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting so tired of hearing people suggesting that we take a harsher view of animal abuse than murder. First, there are many, many murders that shock people. I think to some extent we have become a bit desenitized by the number of murders, but despite that, the general public considers murder to be worse than dog fighting - and so do the judges and juries. Seccond, he did not shoot a dog because he had rabies (as what happened to Ole Yeller). He tortured some and shot others because they did not "perform" as expected. As a result he will likely spend 12 to 18 months in prison. Had he shot or tortured a person, trust me, he would have spent a great deal more time in prison.
