8 dogs who underperformed in training were executed by hanging them by Vick and his 2 cohorts. 3 of them survived the hanging, so Vick and his crew decided to drown them to death. Vick will never be allowed to ever step foot on an NFL field again. Vick to get at least 18 months, probably more. Good riddance.
I'm not sure about that, but it definitely looks like he's going to be spending some time behind bars; even if he accepts a plea bargain.
We should know the result of a plea deal sometime this morning. I think those facts about the manner in which he killed the dogs has long been reported, as it was included in the original indictment. That doesn't make it any less shocking though.
18 months puts him out of football thru the 2008 season. If he has to miss at least 2 seasons, nobody will want to touch this guy, even if he allowed to get back in.
The real question is whether Ron Mexico's herpes infection will largely protect him in prison, if you know what I mean. :hihi:
I agree with that. We'll have to see. ESPN was reporting 1yr which will probably only means 3 months.
I disagree. I don't think a team would get him to be the starter, but the guy's only going to be 29 years old then. If he does and says the right things, I'm guessing he can regain most of his form as an athlete. This is kind of unprecedented though. The American people have notoriously short memories, but this might be the one exception.
Prediction: Vick gets 18 months, bulks up in prison as to ward off suitors, Cowboys pick him as a LB (really didnt want a suitor in the clink) to join in the great sleeze-bag player Cowboy tradition
forgot about Brady! Okay, okay...not ALL Cowboys suck...I absolutely love Brady James (met him several times-really nice guy)
