Winning the SEC is a BIG thing in these parts. Winning the SEC means a ton to the players and the coaches and the fans. LSU will be very prepared. UGA may put up a fight for a half, but they will wear out as everyone else has. LSU by 21+

IMO the seccg should be canceled LSU went 12-0. We should be prepping for Bama as they are for us. This game allows for our players to get hurt, god forbid a loss would reck the year and for what so we can play the 4th-5th best sec team? Why not let the team with the bet record host the game? You want to beat the best come on and get it. They have us running to GA to play this crap team and they haven't earned dick this year. God I hate the seccg.

Which means when we beat both of these teams, our season will be all the better because we'll have given Bama the extra handicap.

I usually do not go to another team's board and post but I have broken my foot and I'm bored out of my mind with nothing better to do. I posted these stats on a UGA board and I thought LSU/UGA defensive stats were very similar. Some UGA's opponent's final score was skewed a little because of turnovers and poor special teams play. Anyway here's the stats and any of you guys going to the game I hope you have a great time(with no win of course)
Lsu vs MSU: LSU total yds-361 MSU total yds- 193 Score-19-6
UGA vs MSU: UGA total yds-315 MSU total yds- 215 Score-24-10

LSU vs KY: LSU total yds-348 KY total yds- 155 Score-35-7
UGA vs KY: UGA total yds-317 KY total yds- 165 Score-19-10

LSU vs UF: LSU total yds-453 UF total yds- 213 Score 41-11
UGA vs UF: UGA total yds-354 UF total yds- 226 Score 24-20

LSU vs UT: LSU total yds-385 UT total yds- 239 Score 38-7
UGA vs UT: UGA total yds-366 UT total yds- 269 Score 20-12

LSU vs AUB:LSU total yds-393 AUB total yds-248 Score 45-10
UGA vs AUB:UGA total yds-528 AUB total yds-195 Score 45-7

LSU vs Ole Miss: LSU total yds-458 Ole Miss total yds- 195 Score 52-3
UGA vs Ole Miss: UGA total yds-475 Ole Miss total yds- 183 Score 27-13

Thanks for the stats. GA will need to fix the turnover and special team play to keep the game close. LSU has a knack for getting those plays. I expect to see us get at least 2 turnovers and 1 return for a TD Sat.

If you've watched LSU games you'll know that those stats are terribly deceiving for several reasons. A couple of which are: 1/ Our special teams have given us short fields; thus taking away opportunities for longer drives if we were looking to pile up stats. 2/ Miles' MO is to run it down opponents' throats and chew up the clock. Les time (no pun) = les possessions/scoring.

Georgia's lost two games to the two highest quality opponents. LSU would wipe the field with either of those, as we will with the dawgs...ruff ruff. Here poochie.

Exactly. UGA needed all of those yards to squeak by Kentucky, Fla, TN, etc. We were up by 3+ scores early in the second half and just packed it in from there, even adding another score here and there.

Georgia's "best" win this year? Georgia Tech, a friggin ACC team.

So go ahead and beat off to these little stat comparisons, dogs. You'll soon find out just how deceptive they are...

+ 1 Factor in who they played vs who lsu has played and it's not even close. As a matter of fact I think LSU hangs at least 35 on Georgia.
