So I'm perusing ESPN and come across this. I think to myself, "duh, because they haven't played anybody," but I decided to see what this loon had to say, anyway. Turns out, it's written by the older brother of my old roommate at LSU, which is really the only reason I'm sharing. Georgia Bulldogs face statistical stalworts in LSU Tigers - ESPN
I'm sure there are several high school teams in america somewhere that have similar statistics to LSU. This whole mess of comparing statistics ridiculous. LSU is to destroy georgia by at least 21 points.
Here are the primary stats: 1. Georgia has not had to play Bama, LSU, or Arkansas. 2. Georgia has faced two ranked opponents this season and lost to both of them.
I think the best way to compare stats late in the season is by looking at common opponents. Those would be some ugly stats for GA.
End of story. And this is coming from a stats freak. Notice I haven't even started that thread I promised for comparing endless amounts of stats between the 2 teams.
Well... I know that Georgia beat Auburn 45-7.... a better margin than bama's recent iron bowl. Georgia's losses were the first 2 games of the season. And I fear that if our team is looking ahead to BCSNC like this board is, we may not like the result this saturday. Its like no one is taking this game seriously.
No this is not the case at all. Sure, their only losses were the first two games of the year. Those were also the ONLY decent teams they played all season. We just all know the outcome. This tiger team will be ready. Les Miles has had them up for every game this year. These men know what's at stake.
Georgia let Boise beat the crap out of them on their home field. That alone, should be grounds for termination.
