i guessed a 6 pt win and it fell 4. well a win is a win in hoops. this aint football people. shut your face lsuilike. game is in baton rouge this weekend. in norman, OU would be a 11 or 12 pt favorite im guessing. so in baton rouge, we'd get 4 for homecourt. Minus the 5 OU would get for theirs. Should be 3 or 4 but will be pumped up to 5 or 6 id say. basketball is tough to predict. shane can retire after this like isl and everyone else who bet on new england by taking OU. but i think this ones a winner.
As much as everyone hates on JJ he has won more games in his first 4 years than any other LSU coach. He makes me crazy sometimes as well but I am sure enjoying his tenure much more than the back half of Brady or the entire tenure of the last guy.
Sunshine: Before we lost focus at the end we were finishing the game by handing UGAs ass to them. @tirk is right, a little less than baseball and more than football, a win is a win. Glad we keep ending on the winning end of conference games we should win. I'll be glad if we sneak into the tourney. If we start putting things together we could be quite a team. Unfortunately under cJJ, that seems like a big if. Bottom line: With better concentration and effort, last night is a double digit win. I have hope we take it to OU... Anyway, a loss would have looked bad on the resume, so we held serve FTW.
Jones didnt even look like he cared when UGA came storming back. Id have been pissed yelling at the team to play some freakin defense. Quickly becoming not a fan of JJ. If he cant do more with THIS team, the future is not looking very bright.
I hear you, but some people maintain calm and composure on the outside - it doesn't mean they don't care or aren't responsive. I'm a fiery person, too, and I would be hooting and hollering, but he's a chill dude. It easy to read all of the negative stuff on here by no one who's ever coached before and let that begin to sway your own opinion. I know it is affecting mine. When Dale Brown was coaching, there were no message boards, or you'd be reading the exact same frustrations - can recruit, but not great at in-game coaching, etc. Coach K would have gotten run off by message board fans his first 5 years at Duke. Someone posted earlier that CJJ has won more games in the first 3 years of tenure than any other LSU coach. That sounds good to me. He's got a young team with some talent, let's see if they gel and begin playing to their potential by SECT time.
