I can't copy and paste the story, but UM is making excuses for the lack luster win over UT, SI article. Stating that he didn't open upb, because it was apparent UT wasn't playing for the win, and the flu. Oh please!!!!
What did you expect him to say. His offensive line was blown up constantly by Vols DL. If Tebow wasnt such a great athlete, he would have been sacked at least 6 times that game. Meyer knows he has alot of weaknesses, one being the receiving corp. Tebow has to run alot more this year and Cooper dropping passes didnt help their offense.
They have no receivers. It will be a problem all year long. If Demps and Rainey don't have the big play, this team will be extremely vulnerable. And their run defense is not that great.
Harvin is a big loss for Florida. So was Murphy. Between the two of them they had speed to burn and made teams adjust their entire defense around it. Tennessee has a good defensive line and believed they could contain Tebow and cover the wide receivers long enough to force a run or get a sack. Eric Berry was a big reason it worked.
Kiffin has to be killing Cromptons confidence at this stage of the season. What does their backup look like?

Thats my point. Miles at least admits we didn't play as good as he would hope and that the opposing team played very well. Trying to claim it was close because UF was taking it easy is BS. Bottom line is UT exposed some serious weaknesses in UF's abilities and gave other SEC teams a blue print to follow.
