i can't wait for this fight! does anyone know if any bars are showing it? i had to cancel my cable a year ago.
me neither dude, i have been watching rousey on youtube and she rules. i think she is gonna break tate's elbow in 45 seconds. i think men's mma is to the point where, for example, a world champion wrestler cannot come in with a funky technique and win. but women's mma isnt as developed and a women with a really incredibly great specific skill, like a judo master that knows the best possible way to flip a person into an armbar can dominate. love the armbar assassin. i like that she will get you in full mout, throw a couple punches, but only as a distraction for the wild fliparound armbar that will take a quarter second.
i think the men are so scared to lose, that they don't go for finishes...and that makes their fights boring. And when they do lose a decision, they act all pissed off. I hope Tate wins, but I don't see it happening. The only way Rousey will lose is by KO.
uh. thats awful, i cant watch it. i was gonna steal the fight from the internet and watch it, but i dunno if i can stand to see that. i like rousey in principle but i cant take to watch an arm snap. she kinda reminds me of that dude who was on ultimate fighter who was really skinny but somehow was crazy good at choking everyone out. he couldnt do anything else, he was just a true master at the choke. eventually people punched him too hard and that was it for him i guess.
i tried to buy it from showtime, but they don't offer it online. i looked to bars to watch it, but no one offered it, so i watched it online. i don't have cable, so i couldn't order showtime and most of the people i know didn't have showtime, didn't want to order it or went out of town. Can't wait for this weekend with Bones Jones and Sugar Rashad, seems like it has been a long time time since the last fight. Anyway, I can see Rashad giving Jones some problems, but not enough to win. Too tough a task for Rashad to get inside and do his damage. Current line is below and none too enticing to bet.
