The part where the guy in the crowd reached out and jacked Kenny Florian's hat when he was walking to the ring was pretty awesome too. I was kinda hoping they would show the fight that broke out in the crowd as well. Sounded pretty exciting.
rumor is that Forrest got a dislocated jaw/could not hear early in the fight and he bolted to get medical attention. no clue how true it is.
nope he just got embarrassed. man im disappointed in kendall grove. he did nothing to assert himself the last few fights. he started out so well im guessing hes just become complacent. silva showboating due to his last boring fight was weird. thats not his style although i understand his people told him to mix it up and put on a show, i still didnt like him acting out of character. griffin was definitely outclassed and scared. getting knocked out when silva was falling backwards with a glancing blow? happens but only when the other fighter is scared. they go down even when not hurt. thats what happened here. complete embarrassment for forrest and the sport. speaking of outclassed, kenny florian certainly was-- as expected. bj just layed back most of the fight preserving his energy and countered. now he can shut the hell up and realize his place isnt among the elite. looking forward to ultimate fighter in september. for the record, dont park on the service road at hooters on siegen. we parked about a half mile away behind no less than 50 vehicles. theres nothing on the road except a hotel 2 miles away yet when we left, everyone had a parking ticket. the cop was writing mine up in his car as i was leaving. comes on the mic, STAY PUT. ok pal. ended up getting a warning ticket. whatever that is.
Watched the Silva fight just now. that was unbelievable. Tirk is right, Forrest was flat out scared. That was the weirdest knock out ever.
i bought 101 and it was decent. i dont understand how it can be so hard to land punches on silva. is he magic? anyways, saturday night on showtime, a true tragedy will occur. the beautiful and impossibly charming gina carano will have her pretty face beaten senseless by cyborg santos. i hope i do not cry.
