As to recruits, I've seen nothing proving that. It appears to be a rumor or just another one of those stories that's grown over the 'net. Like the post here saying those teams had games—which was true—but giving the implication those games were in Gainesville. GatorCountry has a calendar for visits on their site and there aren't any listed.

If this were true there would be stories published covering those kids and their visits.
