    Dear Mr. Alleva,

Don't be a pussy. Do NOT agree to play at Florida on November 19. Florida didn't want its football program to be inconvenienced in the slightest way last weekend and still doesn't want to be inconvenienced.... why should WE be the team that's disadvantaged by their hurricane?

I just read this on a Gator message board:

"Just because the canceled game was supposed to be played in Gainesville doesn't mean that UF should be the team that has to make the biggest sacrifice."

Really? So LSU should make the biggest sacrifice even though there were plenty of sensible options refused by Florida that would have gotten the game played?

I wouldn't worry about this anymore. The game isn't happening. LSU holds all the leverage here, and league by-laws are clear that Sankey can't force us to drop a non-conference game. Realistically, LSU is not running the table, so there is absolutely zero incentive for Alleva to pull Sankey's fat out of the fryer by agreeing to a do-over in the Swamp, and in the process looking like a buffoon after digging his heels in. If Foley and Sankey want to take their clown show of an excuse to the court of public opinion, we've got the truth of what happened last weekend and Katrina precedent on our side. If the SEC doesn't amend its rules and UF backdoors their way into the SECCG, then it makes the SEC office look like a bunch of bush-league morons who at best was too stupid to see that Foley played them, or at worst was complicit and played favorites.

We owe Florida nothing, and they will get nothing.

I've seen this everywhere. Has it been confirmed or is this internet rumor.

Too bad there are no Gayturds on this board to defend the actions of Foley.

I read an article today that said the report of hosting recruits was BS, spurred by one recruit who's facebook said he was in Gainesville. Of course, it was a UF blog, and so full of outrageously false crap that this could be wrong as well.

They "claim" the SEC shot that down, yet I still have seen zero sources where they are getting that.
