UF coach Jim McElwain said criticism following LSU cancellation 'shocks me'

The fallout was so devastating they still hosted recruits that weekend. I hear what you're saying, but if McElwain wanted to make the point about uncertainty, then he should have left it there. But if he wants to try and back up Foley's victim narrative, it's not gonna end well.

 

There were a number of games impacted and only one had a team to bitch out. Their QB is feeling better today, so now UF is ready to suit up.

Y'all make millions to make these hard decisions, but instead you stuck your dick in the wind and waited. When you are the only one to get this decision wrong, you are a fucking idiot. Or a bitch.

As a resident of Baton Rouge, HELL NO to the idea of giving up our Nov. 19 home game. There were viable options, you chickened out, and it's YOUR team that should now bear the brunt of circumstance.

 

Did they really host recruits? If so that destroys any thread of legitimacy in their excuses for not playing the game somewhere.

Guys and Gals, I haven't posted in a long time but this crap has me stirred up. Here's the really sh**ty part: Go read the story comments on ESPN or a lot of other sites concerning Alleva's comments today about not cancelling the 11/19 home game against USA. We are overwhelmingly the villain in this situation. We are "chicken" for not wanting to revise our schedule and accommodate Florida whose state was just "destroyed" by Hurricane Matthew. That's basically what the nation thinks of LSU right now. We are the bad guys!!!!!!!

I don't give a fuck what a bunch of idiots have to say. LSU tried everything possible, there was precedent including 2 previous LSU games where a team was dealing with flooding or a hurricane and those games were played. LSU went on the road for a home game in a NON CONFERENCE game. Foley and McElwain are chumps and cowardly bitches that used a hurricane as an excuse and media outlets know this.

 

YEP! They hosted recruits this weekend. Also the soccer team traveled to Ole Miss for a Sunday game and the volleyball team traveled to South Carolina (also affected by the storm) for a Sunday game.

 

These geniuses voted >80% in favor of keeping Miles in a poll last year after the November to not Remember. Their collective opinion means less than nothing.
