Where did you hear that?? I remember reading something about Teague, but I haven't come across anything about Cox expecting to have trouble. I even went through about a dozen articles on Rivals about Perrish and couldn't find anything that even mentioned grades...
Oh. Well that just stinks! Hope now that the recruiting process is over for a lot of these players, they can finally put their undivided attention in the classroom and less about answering phones, going on official visits, etc. I think it's real important for a player that isn't exactly a strong student--or is in a position where he must improve test scores, to take his visits before bowl week, take the Christmas vacation to think things over, and make his announcement in early Jan. That way, the stressful part of it is out of the way (hopefully) and they can begin the 2nd part of their school year working hard in the classroom.
