Greg Reid of Georgia had an incredible game -- two interceptions (almost three) and some really nice kick returns. A Georgia recruiting site says he is "leaning heavily to UGA." Add him to 5-star CB Branden Smith of Georgia, who announced his commitment to Georgia at the game, and Georgia is looking to get itself a couple studs in the secondary. Well nupe, I guess this QB class has very few at the top with really strong arms because his arm looked stronger than anyone else I saw this weekend. He also hit his target on a 30 yard deep out in the skills challenge and that's the hardest throw for a young QB to make. None of the other competitors came close to hitting that throw. It doesn't matter what the defense is if a QB can read it and put the throw where it needs to be. He's ahead of the curve mentally and physically. I'm not saying he'll be great. That remains to be seen. But put it this way, I bet USC is much more excited about their incoming freshman QB than Bama is about there's...based on what we saw this weekend at least. BTW, Booty and Leinart's arm strength are about what and what. His weak arm is what left him low in the '08 draft and projected as a career backup. As far as Sanchez goes, any given gameday, any QB can be broken with the right gameplan. Bradford was somewhat "broken" against Texas and they still put up 35 points. McCoy had a rough go of it last night. We as fans tend to forget how many times a QB performs great after one bad performance. That USC defense was broken in that Oregon St. game too but I don't see anyone saying they're not a very good defense. I'm not a USC fan by any means, just callin a spade a spade. Can you admit that maybe you're just a little hard to please?
