He has wound down the Iraq war to a fraction of its former costs, he is doing the same in Afghanistan, saving us $billions. The stimulus helped prevent over a million layoffs and kept businesses working in the worst recession in 70 years. The stimulus turned unemployment around from 700,000+ losses per month to 300,000+ gains per month. He cut wasteful spending by eliminating funding for more F-22 fighters that the Pentagon didn't want. He prevented GM from going into bankruptcy saving tens of thousands of jobs and a huge chunk of economic production. The list goes on, but thats good enough for now. The results speak loudly. The GDP is undeniably up. New jobs are undeniably up. The stock market has recovered from the 2008 recession.

Now, what has Obama done to hurt the economy? Be specific. Don't talk about the ten-year projected deficits that is a result of both party's spending. What has Barrack Obama done since 2008 that has hurt the economy? And why did the economic numbers go up if this is true?

You live in South Louisiana and you have to ask?
He's killed the O&G economy around here

His stimulus was "guaranteed to keep unemployment under 8%. It's 9.1 and going up.

He's done nothing to reduce the massive debt thats threatening our global credit standing.

You don't want to hear about the future but the deficit will be 1.6 Trillion by the end of the year.

He saved GE and you're bragging? I guess Bush gets credit for saving AIG then?

Housing prices are down 33% from their 2006 peak. During the Great Depression they were down 31%.

And as for your fallback GDP figures:

Dude, it was BP that killed the economy, that and two devastating Hurricanes.

It wasn't guaranteed, but it was intended to keep unemployment below 8%. So, it missed by a percentage point. But job growth is rising after falling under Bush.

Obama inherited a recession and two unfinished wars. Were you expecting Pixie dust and unicorns? Its going to take more than half an administration to fix it all.

    Of course.

From the peak of the unregulated, overinflated bubble! The mortgage crash happened under Bush. The market dictates that those houses are now priced properly. People have to be responsible for buying houses that were bigger than they could afford. Banks have to be responsible for lending irresponsibly. WTF do you expect Obama to do except put back some prudent regulations . . . which you will then oppose as government interference.

Isn't that the same as hope and change? Both are about as easy to find in the Obama administration as pixie dust and unicorns.

I keep posting charts that show the change is happening. All you have to do is look and be honest.
