Tiger had a three shot lead through ten holes. Rocco got a couple of birdies back to back on 13 & 14. Through 14, all tied up @ +1.
After watching the ESPN 360 coverage for the first nine, this NBC online video feed is like stepping back in time. Terribly jumpy video and out of sync with the audio by about 5 minutes.
Rocco has the lead now, through 15. Tiger had an amazing shot on 15th, but Rocco had a long putt. He's outdoing Tiger over these past few holes. The Official Site of the U.S. Open Championship Conducted By The USGA has a better online feed.
Going to 17th. Tiger had a long putt on 16th that stopped a few inches short of the hole. Rocco still up by 1 shot.
This is getting WAY too close to quitting time as this event is sure to back traffic up for an additional two hours! We had the world soccer something or the other a couple of weeks ago which brought every Mexican over for the match. Chaos ensued and made what is normally a 15 minute commute 3.5 hours. Bitter indeed. Back to pasture pool!
Tiger missed eagle putt on 18th, Rocco missed birdie putt. Rocco up by one. Both have about the same putt for birdie & par respectively. If both make, then it goes to sudden detah playoff holes.
