I'll never shout it at a golf tournament, but I can type it on a bulletin board.

    Tiger, YOU 'DA MAN

I wish I could see the play off tomorrow. Maybe I can catch the end of it.

    F it.

Tiger made that lucky freaking put at 18.

Rocco will fold like a rental chair tomorrow unless Tiger's knee requires amputation tonight.

Lucky? Tiger has made some lucky shots, but that was not one of them. And you are right. Tiger wins tomorrow.

I want to believe that it was lucky.

Unfortunately it was just one of the hundreds of clutch shots or puts that he has made in his career.

    I hate him.

I dont think Rocco folds tomorrow as much as Tiger will just take it. Rocco is playing lights out. He's been the most consistent player hitting fairways and greens. Tiger is just on another planet and makes the shots when he has to. It would be a great story if Rocco wins this thing. He is such a character and I love his attitude but its going to be almost impossible to take it from Tiger head to head.

BTW...did anyone notice that Tiger said he took something for the pain? I bet a lortab or 2 did the job.

I'd bet that he had his knee injected with something for the pain. I would if I was in his condition.

I had a real tough time deciding if I wanted to see Tiger make that putt. What an unreal story that was to be told had Mediate won the tournament at the ripe old age of 45 and out of the top 100 golfers in the world rankings.

But ultimately I wanted to see Tiger do what he always does. We really couldn't have it any other way. The natural order of the universe would have been disrupted had he missed.

    He did not disappoint.

    Tiger in a cakewalk tomorrow.

    Tiger -1
    Mediate +4

I suspected he would take something for the pain, but it appeared only to allieviate the pain rather than to knock it out completely. That is probably a good thing. If he did not feel any pain at all he could end up doing some real damage and not know it.

ESPN starts coverage today at 11:00 and NBC picks it up at 1:00. I should be able to make spot checks at work.
