Climate Science Panel Apologizes for Himalayan Error - NYTimes.com

"These errors could have been avoided had the norms of scientific publication including peer review and concentration upon peer-reviewed work, been respected," write the researchers."

"A 'breakdown' in the peer-review process"

again, all we really need to do to understand this issue is admit that humans want it to be true that we are destroying the earth.

I'd love to see a graph listing all the breakdowns that made it appear that global warming was worse than it is compared to one showing all the breakdowns that downplayed the threat of global warming.

It reminds me of a boss I had that was always making mistakes regarding my pay. After a while I realized he wasn't just incompetent as the mistakes were always in his favor.......hmmmm.

Wasn't there an argument here sometime ago, where some people were claiming that peer-review was working properly and proof of global warming was just that absolute?
