Just saw on ESPN where Kiper's latest mock projection has TJ going to the Chiefs with the #3 pick. TJ, I love you man, but if that pans out that will be one of the biggest reaches in NFL draft history.
Tirk is probably right, but last years def. coaches did not get the job done and this is partly why the sentiments about Tyson are what they are. He had a really good year with Dorsey, and then was double teamed quite a bit last year with a poorly coached defense. He does have potential. Top 5 pick is not bad for a 2* out of high school
3rd pick overall joining dorsey at kc. unreal. nice job tj. cha-ching is all you really need to say for him. thats some serious cache.
Is there a former Tiger working at KC because they really love LSU..remember when some thought they were going to take Early too
His best work has always come when there was someone else on the line that commanded more attention than him. On the right team, he could have a really good NFL career. Any team that drafts him expecting him to be "the man" on their DL is probably making a mistake IMO. Think of him as the Pat Swilling of D-Linemen. With Rickey Jackson playing oppostie of him, he was a beast averaging almost 11 sacks per year, and making Pro-Bowls almost every year. Without Rickey Jackson, he averaged only 6 sacks a year.
Wow. That is great for him and LSU! What a difference a week makes - he made quite an ascent from expected #12 to #3 picked!
Dwayne Bowe in 2007 Glenn Dorsey in 2008 Tyson Jackson in 2009 Herman Edwards fired January 23, 2009 That's four great reasons to like the Chiefs!
Pioli is obviously no longer in Belichick's shadow. Couple of pretty bold moves in the past couple of days. We'll see how they pan out.
