Hey may not have been consistent at LSU, but the NFL has fell in love with the guy. Seriously, draft experts are saying 2 teams in the top 5 want him. Called the best pick at DE for both 4-3 and 3-4. http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFLDraft/Player+Rankings/2009/09top100409.htm http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/don_banks/04/22/snaps/index.html?eref=T1
If this is true, he definitely made a good decision to come back for his senior year because he wouldn't have gone that high last year.
Detillier says he's probably moved into the top 10. Pretty good for a guy who hasn't made a tackle since New Year's Eve.
average at best his career at LSU. looks great out of pads at the dog a pony show. this guy will likely be an average NFL player at best. I smell bust. you cant teach heart/desire.
tyson jackson = chad jones lots of hype. still waiting on some production. i guess most teams figure they can turn on his motor. more than likely tirk will be right. hes got the perfect size for an end in a 3-4 which shoots him up most boards but there isnt much film to go with it. awesome for him, though.
qft also, my love affair with chad jones officially ended last year. im over him. tebow was happy to hear this.
I've ranted more than once about the the guy who wows everyone at the Combine/Pro Day workouts, causing everyone to forget that he didn't do much when it counted, on Saturdays on the field. Invariably, he becomes the "draft day bust." Sounds to me like some of you feel the 2009 version of that phenomena will be Tyson Jackson.
he did alright. not gonna get into the HOF after only 1 season, but he did fairly well for a rookie. He did at least as good as the Long feller that went a few spots higher than him.
