Skiles finally realized that Tyrus Thomas is a huge match up problem for Detroit, got him in the game, and he's BALLIN'! Both ends of the court, including a pretty nice spin move to his right, and a gentle touch.

This reminds me...is Ben Wallace the most overrated player in the post-season, and if not, who is??

The guy is a non-factor on offense, and he seems to have completely forgotten how to block out. What happened to this guy, other than turning 50.

Wow, he certainly made his presence felt in a hurry once he entered the game just now!

Exactly the kind of player Golden State needs. Good rebounder and runs the floor well. Not a 3 point shooter and plays good defense.

Are their any Tyrus Thomas type players coming out this year?

Not really. There's a reason he went so high in the draft. It's a bit rare to find a guy with his length that can jump out of the gym AND time his jumps. Stro Swift was like that, but proved to not have either the intelligence or work ethic to make in the Association.

This draft is absolutely loaded though, and I'm far from an expert on college basketball. So, there's probably a diamond in the rough out there. Golden State's finally going to have a late draft pick now though! :thumb:
