If he gets to see the field, he will do all right. Especially if it's returning punts or being headhunter on kick defense, where it is OK to be a hot dog. I think it will take time for him to be a NFL-caliber defensive back. He could have used another year at LSU to develop technique and reading offenses. He will need a year or two in the NFL to break the starting lineup. Of course, his instincts and nose for the football might get him an early look at nickleback.
