Of course, nobody points out that LSU was penalized 13 yards when it was supposed to be half the distance from the spot of the foul. Holding calls on kick returns are 10 yards or half the distance to the goal line from the spot of the foul. TM7 made contact on the 18 & Kirkpatrick fell on the 16 and slid to the 14 where he was attended to. The ref said that the foul will be enforced from the "end of the run", which is not the rule. In fact, it was marked off half the distance from where ODBjr caught the ball, which is why it ended up around the 5. The ball should have been placed at the 9, not the 5. Noticed it at the time, but figured that it was just a small screw-up considering I thought they were about to throw TM7 out. Still, we won, so I am not complaining. GEAUX TIGERS
