Is it safe to say that Tyrann should be in the conversation for best freshman season at LSU ever?

    OK, conversate!:hihi:

Kevin Faulk, Tom Hodson and Dalton Hilliard were amazing as freshmen (Hodson was a redshirt, I think). Defensively, I'm going to give it to Laron Landry, but I think I'd put Tyrann second.

Laron did have a huge true freshman season. I'm trying to remember freshman who had a big impact. I think Cameron Vaughn had a pretty amazing freshman season, Justin Vincent, can't forget him.

Vincent was special as a freshman, but don't forget that he really only had half a year. He didn't get his shot until Shyrone Carey and Joe Addai (I think) both got hurt.

This kid has NFL written all over him. He will win tons of awards before it's over and be a Sunday superstar. No doubt he will make lsu proud

Defense only? If not, I'll submit Jerel Myers to the discussion.

(Too bad that like Vincent, he peaked as a freshman.)

Nah not defense only, what would be really cool is if we could come up with an all time freshman LSU team. Compile an all time team based solely on the players freshman campaign, redshirt included.
