I take it in this context - that each game it was noted in the media that prior to the season, LSU's "starting QB" was suspended for involvement in a bar fight. I'm sure no intentional disrespect was directed at Lee. As noted above, TM just needs a little coaching in interview speak.

 

Jordan Jefferson was the starting QB, got suspended and now is back. Now Lee is the starter. What's the issue?

 

This isn't even a mole hill. Stop seeing mountains. Jeez.

 

LSU fans and players can't allow players' comments to the media adversely affect LSU in any way, shape or form.

For the good of the team, even if a player's words are inartful or poorly phrased, we must move on and leave the issue behind.

Just listened to the interview. He clearly said "OUR quarterback" - nothing wrong at all with what he said or how he said it. If anything, he emphasized that the team just goes out and plays hard - doesn't seem to matter who is the starter or the sub.

 

I heard TM7 on the Pollack and Palmer show today and he did very well. He sounded like a mature NFL player talking about his team. I was impressed and proud.

 

Dammit I missed P&P show. Does it replay? I'd like to see it. 'Skinning' crew showed up 5 hours late today and are nearly through with the man-cave roof (they'll be back tomorrow to put the walls up) so I was outside conveying comments and questions from the long-distance hubs.
